temp probes

i take it they dont like hot glue...... burned both of them out.

Hi,

The temperature probes are fine with hot glue. Wires are soldered onto the probe, so solder is a lot hotter than hot glue. The only other way to ruin the temperature probe is to plug the probe in backwards.

Check your probes again, maybe they are still working.

says fatal error search 03, ill checkl the wires i knwo i ddint plug them in backwards

Did you try other temperature probes in the same header?

yea i switched them around, tried different headers and no joy, whats the max temp those can handle? my glue guns 360. still saying fatal search error 03

I apologize for the confusion. I interpreted the problem differently. Looks like the hot glue damaged the display. The operating temperature range is -55 to 125C.
