Keypads on MX5?

I have been looking at your products and am really interested in buying one. The problem I have though is that I can't see anywhere, any information about the keypads for the MX5 series of screens?

The pictures for the MX4 series shows the keypad on it, the MX5 series just shows silver styling. Can you please clarigy that there is a keypad on the MX5 or is it controlled another way? Do I have to purchase a seperate keypad and find somewhere to house this on the PC as well?

I really want to get the MX5 mainly because it's silver and would match my case (how vain I know).

Any help is appreciated. Product looks ace by the way!

Hi Matt,

The MX5 series does have a black 15 button keypad. The silver and black aluminum overlays do not have a keypad. You will still have all the functionality of a unit with the keypad in that you can use the software to control fans, monitor temps, or scroll information such as song titles. You would not be able to raise volume or change screens manually though. You would need to do this through the virtual screen or by setting up events with specific times. eg show temp every 2 min, song title every 1 min.

Also I would not say you are vain but, a person who knows what they want. Unless of course you spend hours in front of a mirror. Then I would call you vain

Hello, our MX series units come with a choice of overlay(Beige, black, aluminum, with/without buttons) . The silver aluminum does not come with keypad/button options. Your choices for the MX5 series are as follows:

Pg1-MX500-MX504 -beige keypad overlay with buttons
Pg2-MX510-MX514 -black keypad overlay with buttons
pg3-MX520-MX524 -silver aluminum overlay (no buttons)
Pg4-MX530-MX534 -black overlay (no buttons)
