unmodified floppy drive power cable

Post by NewQ »

Do not under any circumstances use an unmodified floppy drive power cable.
This quote is from the user manual of the GLK12232-25-WBL

I have one and i am a bit confused. I don't think the powercable has to be moded for this type.

Or am i wrong ?

Thank you for posting.

You do not need to modify a floppy power cable to power up the display. It will also depend on the location of where you want to power up the display. To clear things up you can still power up the display with an unmodified floppy cable.

I apologize for any confusion this has caused you, but we are in the process of updating our manuals.

Best Regards,
