Hi,

I have a VK204-25 rev1.24 and I'm not able to read the module type from the display. (byte 254 - byte 55)

Reading the module (e.g. after pressing a key on the connected keypad) works perfectly, so it's not a communication failure I think.

Is this module capable of returning module type, version and revision? (or maybe just too old?)

Hi Jeroen,

The unit is capable of returning module type and version number aslong as the microcontroller it is using is the PIC16F877A. The older model had the same board revision, but it used an older processor. You can also test the display with uproject, which can be downloaded at http://www.matrixorbital.ca/software/so ... /uproject/ .
