Unknown Device/Screen not detected

I have recently purchased a new PC which came with LCDC and a Matrix Orbital LK202-24 USB Rev 1.4 I manged to install the drivers and windows recognises it as a usb serial port in the device manger however when I turn on the computer the welcome screen comeson i.e Matrix Oribital but when I run LCDC and try to get it to detect it, it fails to find it sometime it will say COM 2 unknown device. I am brand new to this hardware and software and really need some help!!

First off, lets check whether the drivers were installed properly. Can you tell me if you see "Matrix Orbital MX2xx USB Driver" Universal Serial Bus Controller's branch?
