VK204-25, serial in Debian Linux

Hello list,

i have a problem with a VK204-25VPT-E display, i tested in windows with uProject and all is fine, but if i use any program (written in C) to send hex codes to this display, nothing happend, i use this configuration:

device: /dev/ttyS0
Baud rate: 19200
Data bits: 8
Stop bist: 1
Parity: None.

I use an standard DB9 RS232C cable, i have other devices working with my routines, thank you in advanced

Can you confirm that the port is sending data?

If so please confirm that the wiring is correct. You can double check the display wiring by looking up the manual on our site http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals and then checking the continuity of your cable.
