GLK12232-25-WBL Font Loading Issues (HELP NEEDED)

Hello

I am using a GLK12232 module in a project. I had needed a different font so I experimented with a few different fonts uploaded with Modg. This worked fine. I then decided to upload a bmp to the unit. This failed. It did not get past 0% on modg. Following this, any attempt to load a font failed.

After wiping the memory, the unit still wont accept uploads. Other functions such as backlight toggle and drawing functions of modg still work.

I am looking for anything else to try as ive run out of ideas. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for your post.

When you first turn on the GLK12232, do you see the start up screen? I have a feeling that maybe the ext EEPROM may have been damaged or overwritten.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

When I turn the module on there is no start up screen. However I have just been informed that this particular unit has been used in a previous project and that the start up screen was disabled.

I managed to resolve the failed uploads by switching from MODG to uProject for uploading duties. I believe the system got stuck on from a failed upload attempt.

The module now works 100% as intended.

Thanks once again for your support. I recommend anyone else having font uploading issues to give uProject a shot. It seems to handle the communications better. (Ironic as its not intended for the GLK series)

Excellent. Good to hear. I actually have not used the uploading font/graphic feature in uProject. I will give it a try sometime.
