Take a look at the attached pic...
The backlight brightness is all over the map. I swear that they started out the same.
These displays have been in service for only ~1 month.
They now appear this way as soon as they are powered-on.
I've tried boosting "brightness" slider using uProject (232 mode). However, the dimmer dispays are still, well, dimmer.
Contrast adjustment doesn't help much either.
Replacing a dim display with a new display fixes the problem (ie, the problems are with the display and not power levels, cabling, etc)
Details below:
Model: LCD0821-WB
+5V, using I2C in-system
The displays on the lower row are all on the same i2c bus using the same power source (+5 @ 6amps).
Serial #'s:
"Wave Polarity" - 07M01-1860 - little dim
"Confining Pressure" - 07M01-1853 - Almost no backlight at all.
"Pore Upstream" - 07M01-1851 - bright
"Pore Downstream" - 07M01-1861 - 1 shade off full-bright.
"DifferentialLoad" - 07M02-1069 - dim
plus another display that we've replaced in yet another system:
sn: 07M10-4737 - very dim - in service for ~ 2 hours!
We need better quality than this... What's up?
