Hi,
I wanted to know which one of your LCDs was optimal for my situation.
I currently have the LCD 2041, but I think it might be too advanced for my requirements.
I want to connect the LCD to a microprocessor through a serial connection.
All I really need to display are large numbers with a decimal.
I think the typical character size is around 2.95 mm * 4.75 mm. I would like something which is at least 3 to 4 times as big.
Lastly, I would like for it to refresh at a pretty fast rate.
I know the LCD 2041 can do this (expect I am not sure of its refresh rate), but is there something simpler out there?
I would appreciate any input!
Thanks,
- PB

The LCD 2041 is actually one of our simplest serial products except for the 3 GPO's it offers nothing extra like keypad support or 1-Wire support which many of our other display do have.
As for your large font requirement besides indeed using the LCD2041 in large number mode the only alternative I can give you is take a look at our graphical displays those will display any font in any size you want but the refresh rate will be significantly lower then the LC2041.
