The new database is currently being worked on, but for now you can use the LK202-25 definition file and change it in "manage data base". Let me know how you make out.

Before I got your response, I tried editting the device type for the LK202-24 to 0x36. This allowed me to connect to the device and the various functions from LCDTester are working now.
BTW - Does the tool support virtual com ports, ie port numbers greater than 9?
