GLK12232R-25WBL-E upload font fatal issues (Help Requested)

Misters,

Hi I am using for an industrial project several LCD GLK12232R-25WBL-E products.
As the target country for the project is Russia, I have to to use a special font including cyrillic characters. (This font is based on the standard Arial PC, the chars greater than 180 are cyrillic ones).

The unit was working perfectly before the font upload.

1) I used modg to upload the font.
2) The unit starts to display weird characters on the screen
3) I was still able to draw pictures on the screen
4) I try to reload one of the original font with mogd
5) the unit was still able to draw pictures, but no characters
6) I wipe the unit memory
7) It changes nothing

I repeat steps from 4 to 8 until it stops reacting at all
9) Even the back light on off button of mogd is no longer working
10) I did the same stuff on another LCD and end up in the same situation
11) I tried to wipe the stuff using mogd on another PC

The contrast is correctly set because when I power cycle the units, some pixels are lit and other unlit.

So I do not have any ideas left except one:
- Use a bin file to restore the unit factory default.

So if you have a memory bin file for this unit, I could perhaps try to resurrect it ?

Any other ideas are welcomed

Hi,

I have been experiencing a similar problem with the same screen. The first few times i tried using MOGD to convert and upload new fonts everything went ok.

However i have been experimenting with other fonts and now i can't display the default font properly! I can't even clear the screen. When i send text or commands it only displays things like - ffffxfxfxf~f~f etc.

If i try to draw a box it only displays numbers!

It seemed to be ok until a new font failed to upload properly and corrupted everything.

I have tried wiping the memory but it seems unresponsive.
