LK202-24-USB detected as USB<->Serial

Post by macaddict »

Hi
We are using quite a lot of LK202-24-USB module with our product.One of the unit is being recognaised as " USB<->Serial " device in Windows XP instead of "Matrix Orbital Lk202-24-USB Driver".Let me know what could be the problem?. I suspect its firmware.Kindly let me know is there any way to restore the firmware and where i can download it.

Thanks.

Hello macaddict,

Thanks for your post.

The display that is recognized as USB <-> Serial device has not had its string name set at production. But, as it is, it should work exactly the same as the one with the set name " Matrix Orbital LK202-24-USB". The drivers will create a virtual comport, and this is the comport you need to use to communicate with the display.

Thanks,
