I'm using a MSC1210 micro to write data to the screen. Everything was working fine, except when I got back from a meeting the LCD was showing garbage. I have tried resetting the factory defaults several times but the screen only works when the Manual Override jumper is left on. This is also the case if I use Matrix Orbital's uProject app. Updates are a little bit jumpy, as compared to before, though.
Has anyone experieced this before? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
LK404-25 Settings Problem
Hi Pmarley,
Thanks for your question, sorry to hear that you've been having some trouble communicating with your LK404-25 display. It sounds like you've got it working with the manual override on, but have some trouble when it is removed.
Manual Override, is a temporary setting, therefore it is important to save settings such as contrast and back light. You can do this by turning remember on, selecting the appropriate settings, and then turning it off again.
Unfortunately, the uProject baud rate command does not function as it should, so you will have to set the appropriate rate using the raw data function of the other commands in the uploader tab. This will let you enter commands as they are written in the manual. Try /254//57//51/ to set the rate to 19200. Again, make sure this is saved.
This should return normal functionality to your display after the manual override is removed.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to post them here.
Thanks,
Troy
