Sorry if this has been posted, but the search function is a nightmare...
I have an MX231 running off my carputer, but I recently switched to a tablet-based system and now can't get the MX231 to power up due to lack of power (windows tells me it just isn't feeding enough to it). I've tried plugging it into an independently powered USB hub with the same result...do we know of any USB hub that it is confirmed to work with?
MX231 power issue
Hello mrhealer,
Thanks for your post.
Tomorrow, I will try out this external USB hub I have (not sure of the brand) I'll let you know.
The MX231 should work with any standard USB port, since it only takes about 120 mA with backlight on. You do not happen to have other USB devices plugged in as well, do you?
Best Regards,

Hi MrHealer,
Just to keep you updated on our end, we were able to successfully run the LK202-24-USB-WB, the MX213 display using a USB hub. I believe ours was from a company called apc, and I really don't think we broke the bank on it.
Looks like you are still having some trouble on your end, so I'd just like to confirm that you have downloaded and installed the latest version 2.05 drivers.
Thanks,
Troy
