Hey guys,
I'm pretty sure I have an LK-202 or 204... it's reverse blue, with the control panel. I've had it for quite a few years now. One thing that has been happening is my screen used to be bright and normal. Over time, and especially recently I noticed the screen getting darker, and now it's completely dark, I can make out the text but there is no back light.
Is there any way to repair this, or is this just caused by old age?

Hi,
Unfortunately you are correct in your assumption that the backlight has reached the end of its operational life. There really is no way to repair it as the backlight makes up a significant part of the expense of the unit and in order to get to it, you have to disassemble the entire display (which can be a real challenge to get back together again).
