MX212 Problem

good day!

can you please help me?

im a proud owner of a mx212..

but there seems to be a problem with it.

at first,i did everything that the quick install guide said, and it did work fine.

i played around with it, spend less than an hour with it.

then i decided to restart the computer..

after that, after the pc booted to windows xp, the mx212 didnt power up (blank screen). then, a pop up appeared saying new device found, then after that, it was saying that it cant be recognized =c i looked at the device manager and the mx was gone and the unknown device was there...

i dont know what happened

Please give me an email at jklassen@matrixorbital.ca and I will try to work with you to resolve the problem. At this point I can recommend re-installing the drivers, as well as trying a different USB port. I look forward to hearing from you.

Please try the following:

1. Uninstall the drivers
2. Remove the registry entries found at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FTSER2K
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FTDIBUS

3. Reboot.
4. Reinstall Drivers

btw, where can i download the 1.1v of the drivers? maybe that could help...the links in the thread USB DRIVERS!!! doesnt work....

i thought that 1.1v helped solved similar problems? where can i download it? it still isnt working after all of the ideas
