Volts in on Fan Bus?
I have been thinking about a watercooling solution for a carpc for some time now, but I need to have a concern I have checked out first.
Ok, so the rig in mind here will be P4 based, opus powered, and fitted in the boot of a saloon. The sealed boot is only going to get hotter and hotter, especially ...

Not with uProject, it seems to alter the settings for when the display turns on, not at powerup. The only app so far to alter settings at poweron was bootedit. However, when using bootedit, it makes the fans switch off again when the display lights up at the welcome screen.

Update:
Having just got your email about how to fix the buzzing noise, I used boot edit, setting the rpm speed and freq to 76.3Hz, the required boot screen and wrote to display. I tried a couple of times, the second time I "wrote to screen" several times to make sure, (and re-connected to find my ...

I've done the upgrades this weekend, and have hit a problem. After tweaking with the boot edit progam the fans all start as they should the moment the system powers on, but as soon as XP loads, and gets to the user logon screen, the fans power off! It's the same time the display actually lights up ...

No, they currently remain off at bootup, and I have to start LCDC for the fans to start. I will try boot edit software in a few hours when I get home. I am also a little concerned about power requirements with this setup, I don't really want to be stressing the motherboard for power, which parts ...

Thats how I'm currently running it, however, I want to add 6 120mm fans over 2 Fan headers, and they simply must start with the system as they will be cooling the radiator. Otherwise, should my pc get reset or a powercut interupts things, unless I log in and start LCDC there will be no cooling, and ...
